Twyla Evano, the founder of Empowered Physical Therapy, is a dedicated healthcare professional with a passion for empowering individuals with neurological conditions. With a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Loma Linda University, residency training, and a board-certified specialization in neurologic physical therapy, Twyla brings a wealth of expertise to her practice.
Her extensive experience spans inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings, allowing her to tailor treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient. As a Parkinson Wellness Recovery (PWR) certified therapist and Multiple Sclerosis certified specialist, Twyla is committed to providing cutting-edge care for individuals with these conditions.
Beyond her clinical practice, Twyla is an active member of the academic community, serving as adjunct faculty at the University of Southern California and West Coast University. She is also a recognized speaker, having presented at the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine on concussion recovery.
